Breeding Bird Atlas Project Update

Download the PDF version of The Citizen Scientist Newsletter (Requires Adobe Acrobrat Reader).

The Breeding Bird Atlas project survey work began in 1994 and was completed in 2001. Soon after the survey work was finished we began work on a book summarizing the results of the project. Good progress was made on this publication until about two years ago when other priorities made it necessary to temporarily put the book on hold. Recently, we have reinitiated the publication effort and hope to have a manuscript to the publisher, The University of Georgia Press, within the next year. The book should be in print a year or so after that. Results will be invaluable for future conservation efforts and ornithological research.
